Tv news bulletin

TV News Bulletin

1)Greenford news story: Sports days destination was moved because of a teacher strike.
National news story: Children's books are turned into benches.
London news story: David Cameron says bio medicines may stop working.
Sports news story: Belgium versus Usa world cup game.
Funny news story: The worlds ugliest dog competition

2.)Greenford news story: We chose this story because we wanted to attract the green-ford high students with something they would relate to. Also some of the students in our school would want answers or someone to say something about it seen as it was cancelled.

National news story: We chose this story because its something everyone would know. Also everyone at least read a children's story in life so it would attract students to watch it. Its interesting because its old children's books being turned into a bench with a picture or main character and setting on the bench with words on it.

London news story: We chose this story because its the top story on the BBC news and I think the teachers/students would of at least heard of it or read it or watched it on the news. Also its about our prime minister giving us a warning for us to know and find out what's happening in the future.

Sports news story: We chose this story because the world cup is global. Everyone watches it and people say it was a great match to watch. Also it was on the BBC news so everyone would of read it and heard about it so we chose it so people can engage with it.

Funny news story: We chose this story because it was a weird and wacky story to hear about and also we found it from a children's news web site to get more of a understanding of a funny story. Also when people hear about this the first thought would be that's weird and funny and to be honest I've never heard a competition called that.

3)The order we did it in was...
-Greenford story
-National story
-London story
-Sports story
-Funny story

4)We asked the girl that was doing the news bulletin to write out what she would say for the news because it was easier to know what she would say instead of us writing it.

5)We timed each story so we got the right length for the news because the 60seconds news is only 60 seconds so if it goes over then we would have to cut some words out so it was only 60 seconds.

6)We made sure the broadcast was professional by using formal language and having some to speak that was confident to speak and that took it serious.

7)My role in the group was to find a Funny story and a London story. It wasn't hard or difficult I think it was fine and I think I did a good job.

8) I would rate my group 3-4.

9)I think my group should of talked more and put our ideas across to each other instead of not talking but overall I think my group were good.

10) Found better stories and put each others ideas across.
